احذر دنياك وغرّتها * واحذر أن تبد لها طلبا
يا طالبها لا تله بها * كم تاه بها ملك غصبا
فالعمر مضى والشيب أتى * والموت لحينك قد قربا
بادر بالتوب وكن فطنا * لا تلق بجريتك النصبا
